Patrick Whelan is President of Great Reach Communications, Inc., the leading provider of direct mail and digital marketing solutions to the print and direct mail industry. Patrick has a BS in business and marketing from Northeastern University and has spent the last 30 years providing marketing programs and consultation to over 700 print providers throughout North America. Patrick has been a featured speaker at industry events and has contributed to numerous industry publications. In 2009, Patrick’s contributions were formally recognized when he was inducted into the prestigious, NAPL Walter E. Soderstrom society.
Patrick lives on Cape Cod, Massachusetts, with his wife and their dachshund, Mia. When he’s not in his office helping printers and mailers you’ll find him on the golf course or playing with his grand kids.

Matt Hunt is the co-founder and a Director at Great Reach Communications, Inc. As an early internet geek and veteran of the first dot-com bubble, Matt grew up at the crossroads of printing, marketing communications, and technology. He has over 25 years of experience in email and digital marketing, helping print service providers strengthen their brand presence and engage their audiences.
Over the years, he has guided countless printers, agencies, and marketing teams in developing practical strategies that merge traditional print with modern digital outreach. Matt believes the most effective marketing combines authenticity and consistency, especially in an age of automation and AI-generated noise.
He lives in the Maine countryside with his wife and young sons. When he’s not behind a screen you may find him brewing, baking sourdough Neapolitan pizzas, or puttering around his orchard and property.

Heidi Tolliver-Walker boasts over three decades of experience as a commercial and digital printing industry analyst, feature writer, and content strategist, including developing content for print and digital newsletters, email blasts, blog posts, and social media. Her insights are sought after by top industry publications, including What They Think, where her commentary and analysis regularly appear.
In addition to her deep expertise in traditional print and marketing, Heidi has become a leading voice on the impact of AI in the printing industry, including the emerging category of AI-enabled search. She develops practical strategies that help companies adapt their content for AI-driven discovery, improve online visibility, and strengthen customer engagement in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.
Heidi’s work also includes authoring white papers for major industry players such as Canon, Ricoh, Konica-Minolta, and Boise-Cascade, as well as three authoritative books for the National Association of Printing Leadership. Today, she brings that same clarity and forward-looking perspective to helping Great Reach clients maximize the value of their content in traditional print and digital marketing, as well as AI-driven search.
