Why a Newsletter?

With so much emphasis on blog and social media marketing, the idea of using a company newsletter as part of your marketing efforts may seem out of date. However, it's essential to recognize a newsletter's role in your marketing strategy.

Newsletters are a highly effective way of engaging your audience and promoting your brand and services. Here is some advice:

• Go with print or email. Ideally both.

• Utilize customer-centric/helpful content that relates to the services you offer.

• Keep it concise. Use lots of bullet or numerical points. We call that style "listicles."

• With print, go heavy on graphics and light on the type. People read images before text.

• With email, minimize images (spam filter reasons) and type. Single short article.

 • Share your newsletter (print *and* email) on your website and social sites.

• Include a signup on your website. It makes you look good!
